Taking the country mice into the city!

This morning we travelled to Montreal. We began the day with a visit of the Biodome. It's the old velodrome of the '76 Olympics that has been repurposed into a multi-ecosystem zoo. We saw monkeys, lynx, gators, otters, frogs, sturgeons and parrots to name a few. What makes this place special is how each section of the biodome recreates the different ecosystem.

Following that we went to visit the Bell Centre! Home of the Montreal Canadiens ;) here we got to sit in a 10 000$/night sky box, sit in the press gallery and sit on Jean Belliveau's sofa!

My favorite part of the day was hearing how much fun the students had with their twins last night. Many are telling me that they "knew the trip would be fun! But they had no idea it would be THIS much fun".

Overall it's been a great first day in Quebec!
